Terms of Service
Effective date: July 12, 2026 · Last updated: July 12, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, accessing, or using Snappalyze, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.
If you use the Service on behalf of a company, brand, agency, or other organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms, and "you" refers to both you and that organization.
2. Description of the Service
Snappalyze is an AI-powered analytics platform that acts as a conversational data analyst for your business. The Service currently provides:
- Google Analytics 4 (GA4) integration — connect your GA4 property via Google OAuth with read-only access and have your analytics data synced and analyzed.
- Analytics dashboards — structured views of revenue & sales, product performance, conversion funnels, customer insights, audience demographics, retention, and traffic acquisition.
- AI Analyst chat — a conversational AI assistant that answers questions about your data in plain language, using your connected analytics data and your workspace's business context.
- AI memory — the assistant can save relevant facts about your business (per workspace) to give more grounded answers across conversations.
- Workspaces — create a workspace to organize your analytics data and AI conversations.
- Conversation sharing — optionally generate public share links for individual AI conversations.
Features described in our marketing materials that are labeled as planned, upcoming, or "coming soon" are not part of the current Service and are provided on a roadmap basis only, without commitment (see Section 6).
3. Accounts & Eligibility
3.1 Registration
Sign-in is provided through Google OAuth. By signing in, you authorize us to receive your Google account profile information (name, email address, profile picture) to create and maintain your account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
3.2 Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and capable of forming a binding contract to use the Service. The Service is intended for business use.
3.3 Account security
You must promptly notify us at support@snapplyze.ai of any unauthorized use of your account. We are not liable for losses arising from your failure to secure your Google account or the devices you use to access the Service.
4. Workspaces & Your Responsibilities
- Each workspace has an Owner who controls workspace settings, data source connections and disconnections, and workspace deletion.
- By connecting a data source (such as a GA4 property) to a workspace, you represent that you are authorized to grant Snappalyze access to that data.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the business information you provide during onboarding. This information is used to build the AI's understanding of your business (the "workspace context") and directly affects the quality of AI outputs.
5. Fees, Free Access & Future Pricing
5.1 The Service is currently free — but not forever
Snappalyze is currently offered free of charge during its early-access period. Free access is temporary and will not continue indefinitely. We will provide reasonable advance notice before paid plans take effect.
5.2 Planned subscription model (not yet available)
We plan to introduce a subscription model with pricing tiers that depend on your user type (for example, Brand plans and Agency plans), along with optional AI token add-on purchases for additional AI usage beyond a plan's included allowance.
Important: This subscription model and the token add-ons are not yet finalized or launched. The details above are a statement of intent only. Final pricing, tiers, allowances, and terms will be published before any charges apply, and you will never be charged without explicitly subscribing to a paid plan.
5.3 Usage limits & token metering
Even while free, the Service meters AI usage in tokens per workspace and per user. We may apply fair-use limits, rate limits, trial periods (currently 7 days for certain data source connections), and usage caps to protect the stability of the Service. We may adjust these limits at any time.
5.4 Payments (when introduced)
When paid plans launch, payments will be processed by a third-party payment processor (currently planned: PayPal). Your use of paid features will be subject to additional billing terms presented at the time of purchase.
6. AI Features — Important Disclosures
6.1 Nature of AI outputs
The AI Analyst generates responses using large language models (LLMs) provided by third-party AI providers. AI outputs:
- may be inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading despite being grounded in your data;
- are not financial, legal, tax, or professional advice;
- should be independently verified before you make business decisions based on them.
You are solely responsible for decisions you make in reliance on AI outputs.
6.2 Human review of AI conversations (quality & safety monitoring)
By using the AI chat, you acknowledge and agree that your conversations with the AI may be reviewed by authorized Snappalyze personnel in specific circumstances.
Our systems automatically monitor AI conversations for signals of difficulty, friction, or user dissatisfaction between you and the AI assistant. For example, if a user writes something like "god damn, do you not understand anything I say?", our system may flag that exchange as a complaint signal.
When a conversation is flagged:
- authorized personnel may read the flagged conversation (including surrounding messages needed for context) to investigate what went wrong;
- the purpose of this review is to identify shortcomings of the AI model, correct them, and improve the quality of the Service and its underlying AI behavior, including using insights from flagged conversations to improve our prompts, tooling, and model configuration;
- reviews are limited to what is reasonably necessary for quality investigation and service improvement.
We may also review conversations where required to investigate suspected violations of these Terms, abuse, security incidents, or where required by law.
6.3 AI memory
The AI may store business-relevant facts from your conversations as workspace-scoped "memories" to improve future answers. Memories are tied to the workspace, not to individual private profiles.
6.4 Third-party AI providers
Prompts and relevant context (including portions of your analytics data and workspace context) are transmitted to third-party LLM providers to generate responses. See the Privacy Policy for details.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- violate any applicable law or third-party right;
- connect data sources you are not authorized to access;
- attempt to probe, scan, breach, or test the vulnerability of the Service, or circumvent authentication, rate limits, or usage metering;
- use the Service to develop a competing product, or scrape, bulk-export, or resell the Service or its outputs except as permitted;
- attempt to extract, reverse-engineer, or manipulate the underlying AI systems (including prompt-injection attacks intended to exfiltrate system instructions or other customers' data);
- transmit malicious code or interfere with the Service's operation;
- use the Service to process data of children under 13 (or the applicable minimum age);
- abuse, harass, or submit unlawful content through chat, feedback, or any other input surface.
Moderation: We may restrict, suspend, or ban accounts (in whole, or from specific features such as chat or feedback) for violations of these Terms.
8. Your Data & Licenses
8.1 Your ownership
You retain all rights to the data you connect to or submit through the Service, including your analytics data, onboarding information, and chat inputs ("Customer Data").
8.2 License to us
You grant Snappalyze a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, transmit, display, and analyze Customer Data solely to (a) provide and secure the Service, (b) generate AI outputs for you, and (c) improve the Service as described in these Terms and the Privacy Policy (including the quality-review process in Section 6.2).
8.3 Shared conversations
If you create a public share link for a conversation, anyone with that link can view the shared conversation (system messages are excluded). You are responsible for what you share.
8.4 Google Analytics data
Our access to your GA4 data is read-only. Your use of Google services through Snappalyze is also subject to Google's own terms and privacy policy. Snappalyze's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
9. Intellectual Property
The Service — including its software, design, dashboards, prompts, model orchestration, documentation, and branding — is owned by Snappalyze or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms. Feedback you submit may be used by us without restriction or compensation.
10. Third-Party Services
The Service depends on third-party services including Google (OAuth, Analytics APIs), third-party LLM providers, cloud hosting and database providers, and (in the future) payment processors. We are not responsible for the availability or conduct of third-party services, and your use of them may be subject to their own terms.
11. Affiliate Program
If you apply to or participate in the Snappalyze affiliate program, additional terms provided with the program apply. Affiliate earnings, payouts, and disputes are governed by those terms and applicable law.
12. Termination
- By you: You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time via support@snapplyze.ai.
- By us: We may suspend or terminate your access (in whole or in part) if you breach these Terms, create risk or legal exposure for us, or if we discontinue the Service. Where practical, we will provide notice.
- Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including Sections 6, 8.2, 9, 13, 14, and 15) survive termination.
13. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy of data or AI outputs, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. The Service is in active development; features may change, break, or be removed.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Snappalyze and its officers, employees, and suppliers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Service — including reliance on AI outputs — even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total aggregate liability for all claims shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or (b) fifty U.S. dollars (USD $50) while the Service is free.
15. Indemnification
You will indemnify and hold harmless Snappalyze from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your Customer Data, your use of the Service in violation of these Terms, or your violation of law or third-party rights.
16. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. The parties consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in Delaware, USA. Each party waives any right to a jury trial and agrees claims must be brought individually, not as part of a class action, to the extent permitted by law.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced through the Service or by email, and the "Last updated" date will change. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree to updated Terms, stop using the Service.
18. Miscellaneous
These Terms plus the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and Snappalyze regarding the Service. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
